| New York road trip next month! |
Next month I'm road tripping all the way to New Jersey and New York to shoot some videos with my good friends Dom Fera and Chris Palmeiri. Should be good times. I'll try to document the whole trip to and from New York. I'm also going to be visiting a few fans a long the way. Not sure how many though, I'm winging most of this.
My cars been acting up the past few weeks so hopefully i wont end up stranded in the middle of nowhere, but hey if that happens at least it'll make for a great video!
I plan to do more road trips like this more often. Mostly during the Summer and Christmas holidays. |

| Sock puppet series coming soon! |
So now that The Fracktaplots has been out for 3 months people have been asking me if I'm planning on starting a series of sock puppet shorts. The answer is Yes! Yes I am! In fact I'm currently in the middle of working on the first episode of the series.
The sock puppet series will feature characters from The Fracktaplots like Steven (voiced by Jason Steele), David Murphy (the Dom Fera character), Mick, etc. Though not all episodes will feature Fracktaplots characters.
The series also wont be called "The Fracktaplots" because it will have nothing to do with the movie. It will be like Klay World, where every episode is its own story and not one long continuous story. |

So I'm planning on improving the look of my website (and forum) to look a little more sleek and professional. My friend Mathew Books is going to hook me up with a webmaster who can do this since my current webmasters Anthony and Tom have been really busy with other things.
I'm most likley going to get rid of the blue theme we have right now, Not sure yet, ill see what the web designer cooks up.
I'm planning on posting updates more often and having this web site 100% finished soon. |

| A fan walked up to me in Walmart the other night. |
Just when I'm starting to under estimate my level of fame, a fan walks up to me and says "is your name Robert Benfer?" or "Are you Knox?"
There's been acouple of times where people have walked up to me and just yelled "Knox!"...which is pretty brave. Because if i was at the mall and saw somebody who looked EXACTLY like Tay Zonday, I'd still have my doubts. I would probably just ask first.
So the other night, im at walmart in the frozen foods section when a fan walks up behind me and says "Benfer." at first i assume that he's an old friend from high school or something, and then i remember that i have no old friends from high school and realize "oh its a fan"
He talks about the normal fan stuff, about how he's been watching my movies for years and how im awesome and that stuff. It's always nice to have people walk up to you at random and tell you how awesome you are. I'm surprised im not a complete douche bag by now, or maybe i am.
But then out of nowhere he pulls out his cell phone and takes a picture of me. I wasn't even expecting it, so now he's got this pic on his phone of me looking retarded. Which is kind of weird, because usually when a fan wants a picture of me, they include themselves in the picture WITH me, instead of just snapping a picture of my face.
Also, it was at the walmart i go to every other day, so now everytime i go there im going to be afraid that this guy is going to pop out and ass rape me. This is the same walmart where that asian fan girl saw me and hugged me. I'm hoping she will be the one that pops out and rapes me. I'd rather be raped by a girl than a boy cause im not gay.
So yeah, this kind of thing happens about 3-4 times a year now. Not often enough to make me go crazy and shave my head bald, but i still get a little paranoid sometimes when im out in public that someone there knows who i am. :P |

HA HA HA! Do you know what that is? That's the laughter of SUCCESS! Thanks again to everyone who has bought The Fracktaplots! If you haven't bought this movie yet then DO IT!
It's nice to be back on Youtube! I was worried that me being off working on this movie for a few months would hurt my video views, but no one has forgotten about me! I've been thinking about what I'm going to be doing for my next feature film, I think I've decided on something but I'm not going to make a final decision until I make a script that I'm happy with.
Obviously The Fracktaplots was just meant to be a silly little movie that didn't take itself seriously. It might have been a little too crazy for some people but most of the feedback seems to be good. My next movie will be more story driven and structured, while still being silly. The only thing I can really tell you is that it will most likely be live action, featuring actual people and not sock puppets or anything like that. Oh, and i promise my next movie will have more special features! :P
Even after I finish the script for my next feature film, I wont start shooting it until early next year. I want to focus the rest of the year on my internet movies. |
